3D-technologies can provide highly customizable and low cost solutions for those who might benefit from active or passive orthotic devices.

Orthotic devices can include rigid braces or splints or assisstive devices with moving parts that aid motion.
These devices can be beneficial to people with such conditions as bone injuries, joint or spinal issues, problems of the foot, or issues related to nerve damage.
